Andy Lau "I'm not gay"

Andy Lau, a famous Hong Kong actor-singer, has denied rumors that he is gay during an interview on HK's TVB station . When asked if he was gay, he said, "I'm not, but if you say I am, I don't think it's a bad thing. Maybe my attitude has caused misunderstanding. I've never pronounced loudly I'm not gay, and I don't think there's the need to do so. I have gays friends." [source]

I used to watch a lot of his movies when I was a high school kid before realised that I am gay. He was very popular in Asia and also one of my favorite male actors. He is now 44 y/o and still single, never married.

Can we assume a guy 35 up, single, has gay friends to be gay???

I think it deserves some respect that he is at least not outwardly for or against the GLBT lifestyles. As for him being gay or not, why does it matters. After all, being gay is only one aspect of a guys life, a sexual preference towards the same gender, nothing more. What is important in a person is who he/she is, not what he/she is as long as he/she is a good person and makes no harm to anyone.
