Tonight, 31 March 2007 at 7.30pm, Sydney city will be in the dark for an hour as the
"Earth Hour" campaign. Most of the main attraction places - Opera House, Harbour Bridge, business buildings, street signs, restaurants and individual houses will turn off their light to show that it's possible to take action on global warming.
We are inviting Sydney to turn off its lights for just one hour. It's a simple action if everyone takes part, sending a powerful message that we care about the future of the planet.
