Begin the countdown!!! Sydney's world renowned fireworks will dazzle once again tonight with the city's NYE celebrations featuring the largest and most complex fireworks on record.
This year's NYE's theme. "The Time of Our Lives", will be brought to life with never seen before fireworks and special effects.
The hourglass bridge effect on the Sydney Harbour Bridge - shown in its full glory in an exclusive picture - will become the centrepiece of the night, themed "The Time Of Our Lives", with fireworks due to explode from the effect itself for the first time.

If I'm reading this map correctly, 2008 gets to Sydney some 16 hours ahead of Dallas. How's it going so far?
