Last year 'Heart of the Harbour' formed the centrepiece for the 2005 Sydney New Year's Eve, transforming Sydney's iconic Harbour Bridge as the focus point of the night's celebrations with the spectacular fireworks over Sydney Harbour.
This year, it’s time for the city to shine again as we celebrate 'A Diamond Night in Emerald City'. The diamond, of course, refers to the 75th anniversary of the opening of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and on NYE we usher in the great coat-hanger’s diamond jubilee year. A coat hanger apparently would be a reference to the bridge's nickname.
