T.R. Knight says in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show about the initial fight on the set of Grey's anatomy back in October between Isaiah Washington & Patrick Dempsey. Those reports subsequently prompted Knight to come out publicly.
At the Golden Globes on Monday night, during an interview in the press room after Grey's Anatomy won Best Drama TV Series, Washington publicly denied ever using the homophobic slur by saying, ''No, I did not call T.R. a faggot.'' (Well, Mr. Washington, you kinda just did again...what a jerk!)
Costar Katherine Heigl responded by telling Access Hollywood that she is ''not OK with'' Washington's comments and calling them ''hurtful.'' [Source]
