Ben Cousins is in crisis

Ben Cousins, my favourite AFL player is in jeopardy. He has been involved in a succession of misdemeanours over the course of his career and was banished indefinitely by the reigning premier after he failed to attend a training session yesterday. Cousins had been one of three Eagles players drug-tested yesterday - despite missing training without explanation. He was also arrested in Melbourne four months ago, for being drunk outside Crown Casino.

Westcoast Eagles' chairman said "He is one of our great players and it is a very sad day. We have a duty of care to all our employees, and we will work closely with Ben and his family to help him overcome these issues. He is an outstanding young man, and we are confident that with the appropriate help and counselling hopefully he can come back and play great football." [Source]

Does make you wonder if his problem is drugs masking an underlying "sexual identity" issue. Moves in with a guy, breaks up with girlfriend, and break in work ethic?

Many more theories will no doubt evolve

I have read this morning that he was with Britney Spears in LA. It is reported here http://thenewsette.com/?p=9

Who knows what he is up to.
