The Finale Of Queen, The Shift

As the upstairs Midnight Shift club is closing its doors to make way for change, it’s time for QUEEN, one of the Shift’s most gracious dames to take a bow, after four years, nine massive shows and more than 200 performances. Last Saturday night Queen of Clubs had its farewell extravaganza with the final performance, staring Amelia Airhead, Joyce Maynge, Minnie Cooper, Ashley, Alex, Janek and Marcus.
The Shift will re-open in two weeks after refurbishment, but without the drag show. WHY? Too expensive? Lost crowd? Poor bar taking? or Is it time for a change?? The club will launch their brand new Saturday night, Machine – a night which promises men, muscle and music.
