The brave riders were protesting against oil dependency and car culture as well as celebrating body freedom. Riders assembled in Hyde Park before setting off on a six mile route which took in classic London landmarks including Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden and the South Bank.
Many participants hid their modesty with vibrant body paint and bikes were covered in flowers adding to the jovial and upbeat atmosphere despite the rather cool June temperatures.

While the 21 Pacific rim leaders were posing for a group photograph at the Sydney Opera House, thousands of protesters marched with red flags and placards during a rally against US President George W. Bush and APEC in CBD, Sydney yesterday.
United Press International, New York, Aug 4 - The emergence of a naked firefighter in a lurid video has prompted a ban against New York City Firefighters making any more beefcake calendars. Future editions of the wildly popular FDNY calendar, which last year raised more than $150,000 for the department, were banned Friday by Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta.
The calendars will go on sale in Laguna and around the world after Labor Day. All proceeds will be split between the SAVE the BOOM!!! campaign and local charities. The Men of Laguna Beach 2008 calendar promises to be one of the hottest male calendars ever produced since Chippendales launched the first ever venture in 1981.

The Peel Hotel, a gay bar in Melbourne has won the right, for the first time in Australian history, to refuse entry to heterosexuals in a landmark ruling at the state planning tribunal. The Peel Hotel applied to ban straight men and women to try to prevent "sexually based insults and violence" towards its gay patrons. The tribunal last week granted the pub an exemption to the Equal Opportunity Act, effectively prohibiting entry to non-homosexuals.
John Browne, a chief executive of BP, resigned on Tuesday after a UK newspaper won the rights to publish details about his private life, including information on a four-year gay sugar daddy relationship with a 27 y/o Canadian escort, Jeff Chevalier. It was revealed he lied to the High Court about where he initially met Mr Chevalier. In documents to the court Browne said they met while jogging in Battersea Park. In fact Lord Browne, 59 hired him through an online escort service, Suited And Booted.
The Times reports that Mr Chevalier had asked Browne for $300,000 as a payoff after their relationship ended. By early leaving from BP, Browne will loose on a leaving package worth 3.5 million pounds and a possible 12 million pounds worth of shares. [Source]
